| Common Name |
Tamukeyama Laceleaf Japanese Maple |
| Description |
’Tamukeyama’ is a rediscovered Laceleaf Maple that was first available in Japan in 1710. Still very popular while new cultivars of red laceleafs are introduced, it has survived the test of time. It is one of our best Laceleaf Maples and is earning great interest because it maintains its dark purple-red color even in hot, humid summers typical of northeastern United States. It is a vigorous grower with long cascading branches, covered with bold and coarsely dissected leaves. Zone 5 - 7. |
