In a container, the branches reach far beyond the bottom of the pot, so in the ground the branching would be lovely on a slope or over the edge of water where the true length can be seen. 'Ryusen' has proven to be a very vigorously growing cultivar. Can be staked and prune to create endless landscape options. Very tolerant to sun and heat.
