'Winter Gem' is another selection of boxwood that gets a very distinctive winter bronzing. It bronzes even more visibly than 'Winter Beauty' and also has larger leaves. 'Winter Gem' is faster growing and is a little bit lighter green in the summer. Will reach a mature spread of about 4' and 2-3' high, but will be fairly slow to get to maturity, especially when sheared regularly for shaping. Zone 5-9
