found by Joseph Reis of Long Island, New York, this bonsai type Hinoki cypress has long thin tendrils of new growth in the spring that thickens during the summer months. This Hinoki cypress grows straight up with a horizontal branch structure holding the clumps of dark green foliage. This look can be accentuated with selective pruning.
