A fascinating compact form of the bald cypress native to the Great Lakes area. Thick spring and summer foliage in a very soft yellow is able to withstand extremely high temperatures without burning. Fall color is a bright orange-brown, typical for the species. Like the 'Peve Minaret, this cultivar also enjoys full sun and wet soil conditions. Generally growing smaller than the species, 'Peve Yellow' may only reach 4' tall by 3' wide in 10 years. Zone 4-8
