As a columnar form of Beech, 'Dawyck's Gold' is becoming increasingly popular where a full size Beech is not appropriate. This very dense tree offers bright golden leaves in the spring, turning a pleasant tan in the fall. This plant originated in Holland in 1968, and is also recognized by the United States National Arboretum.
