At a mature height of 20-30', this specimen will only be 6-8' wide. Branching looks similar to the Pinus sylvestris 'Fastigiata' as its dark green needles grow in a strong upright habit. Using this as a strong vertical accent where space is limited, is its best attribute. 'Arnold's Sentinel' tolerates heat and drought if planted in heavy alkaline soils, making it a valuable specimen for coastal landscapes. Zone 4-7
