'Green Gem' is a slow-growing dwarf Boxwood that forms a tight ball measuring about two feet by two feet in ten years. Its leaves are small and narrow and hold the coloring of their very dark green foliage throughout the year. This small cultivar makes an excellent short, formal hedge when planted closely together and it requires very little shearing to maintain its shape. Zone 4 - 9
