"Nutans Ponds Cypress" is a very interesting deciduous conifer. It has amazingly showy coloring. In the spring, its foliage is bright green, turning a brilliant orange in the fall. The growth habit for this cypress is open with fine, textured, long needles that weep. As the common name suggests by the use of the word 'pond', this species grows well in moist soil conditions. This particular variety is a narrow, upright grower, with branches that are shorter than typical for the species. It is also considered a slow grower, reaching seven feet tall and three feet wide in ten years. Zone 5-8
