"Bird Nest Norway Spruce" is a small to medium-sized shrub that is broad round and symmetrical in shape. It has a flattop growing habit, with a dense horizontal layer of branches. Consequently it is much wider than tall, growing about three to six feet tall and twice as wide. 'Nidiformis' has a slight depression in the center, giving it the look of a gigantic bird's nest, thus explaining its common name.
