'Blue Star' originated as a witch's broom selection from 'Meyeri' that was found in Holland around 1950. Its name, 'Blue Star' is perfectly descriptive of the appearance of this vastly popular plant. The dark blue foliage adorns short branches that form a star-like appearance. It is a broad-rounded, densely mounding cultivar with bunchy, juvenile foliage. Zone 4 - 8
