'Blue Feathers' is a compact dwarf Hinoki with dense blue foliage that stays juvenile, giving it a very soft appearance. This feathery foliage twists up to expose the bluish underside of each leaf. We prune ours into a pyramid, making this obtusa very attractive. Its dwarf classification is given because 'Blue Feather' grows only approximately two to four inches each year, when established. Because it was found as a sport by Ivan Arneson in 1979, it is also known as 'Ivan's Column'. Zone 4 - 8
