This variety is a slow growing, compact Boxwood with small dark green foliage. It is similar in appearance to 'Green Gem', though it grows to approximately three and a half feet tall and wide. 'Green Velvet' holds its dark green color well throughout the year. This selection is also excellent for hedging or as a small, individual specimen. Zone 5 - 8
