- 'Glauca Globosa' is the exceedingly popular dwarf blue spruce. While there are many to choose from, this is often the selection that others are compared to for the standard. It forms a compact, blue globe that at maturity is wider than it is tall. While some can get up to six feet wide over time, one should allow an area of four to five feet for this plant. We shear our 'Glauca Globosa' for fullness in both bush and standard form, and either selection is a must in any notable garden. Zone 2 - 7
